Prototype Signaling and CTC The following photos are some I've taken over the years of signals and CTC installations. Some of the signals survive. All the CTC installations are gone. Here is the B&O's Dayton Dispatching office. The top panel, left, is from North Dayton Cabin and the panel on the right is from Erie Jct. in Lima. This installation was installed in 1951 to handle the Toledo Subdivision. Above is Don Volk, 1st trick dispatcher at my favorite CTC installation, Deshler, Ohio, photographer unknown. Doug Leffler took this photo of the Grand Trunk's Pontiac dispatching office. The machine was installed in May of 1927 and was housed at Fostoria, Ohio, it covered territory from Toledo, southward to Berwick.
